SYNC – short for synchronize, means causing people or things to move together. Much like a conductor and an orchestra, companies that are out of sync, experience discord. In sync, they produce a symphony of effective interactions and positive results.

Successful organizations are in sync with their vision, their strategy and their people. Getting in sync happens through skillful conversation. What gets talked about, how it gets talked about and who is in the conversation determines what’s going to happen. Or, what is not going to happen.

What We Do

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Leadership is a vibrant and ongoing conversation. Effective leaders are skillful relationship builders who know how to connect and guide teams toward their envisioned goal. They are resilient and agile as people, companies and markets change.

Building strong, authentic relationships is a competence that requires a balanced development of the ‘knowing’, ‘doing’ and ‘being’ of a leader. At SYNC we do just that.

We help managers and leaders grow their understanding of leadership, strengthen their skills and relationships and explore how they want to engage, in order to execute effectively. We grow leaders with integrity and heart.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Teamwork has proven to be more critical to success than strategy, finance or technology. At SYNC we help you leverage this competitive advantage by enhancing a team’s capability to work together while creating a positive culture of commitment and accountability.

While it is key to have “the right people” on the team, a negative team atmosphere and difficult relationships undermine the success of even the most talented and engaged collection of people.

We work with teams to develop their conversational capacity to effectively address difficult and challenging issues, including any elephants in the room.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Our leadership development programs are hands-on and grounded in sound research, proven techniques and years of experience. We partner with you to customize our offerings to ensure they address both your immediate needs and strategic goals.

One on One Coaching

Individual coaching for managers and leaders helps them clarify how they want to lead, strengthen critical relationships and skills and operate more effectively.

Executive Coaching Intensives

Coaching intensives combine targeted leadership education with one-on-one coaching, developed around a specific change initiative or topic.

Peer Coaching

Peer coaching is a cost-effective way to accelerate leadership development for mid-level and high potential leaders and build a culture of accountability throughout the organization.

Leadership Training

Customized leadership skill training for supervisors, managers and executives, designed to align with your immediate needs, strategic objectives and core competencies.

The Workplace Coach

A suite of coaching training for executives, (new) managers and HR professionals to incorporate coaching in their work with direct reports, teams and internal clients.

Assessments

As part of our development and training programs, we use a variety of leadership assessments to evaluate leadership style and capacity.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Our team development programs help increase your team’s conversational capacity by developing dialogue and communication skills while creating a culture of candor and curiosity.

TEAM COACHING

Our team coaching helps grow productive relationships and healthy dynamics, while addressing pressing issues around performance, change or development. We consider the team a separate entity with its own voice in the conversation.

FACILITATION

We provide facilitation for company meetings and retreats or ‘hot button’ conversations you need to have. We help you set the agenda in the context of your strategic goals and objectives.

WORKSHOPS & TRAINING

We offer a suite of workshops and training programs on a host of topics including leadership, communication, feedback and listening skills. We can also design a training or workshop on a topic of your choice.

ASSESSMENTS

As part of our team coaching and development programs, we offer a variety of team assessment tools, to evaluate individual and collective capability.
